We're Listening

At the end of each retreat we ask everyone to full out a survey. This survey is anonymous. We ask for complete honesty, the good and the bad. We truly use this information to make our events better, to include things that you want. Below are some of the comments from the Spring09 retreat:

Cannot hear our announcements: we will have a microphone at the next event

People wandering in our room to stare at us: we will try harder to keep the doors closed.

Music over loud speakers was not the best: we will not have music on at the next retreat

Instruction on the Cricut: we will try to demo this on Fri night and we will ALWAYS do one on one instruction

Instruction on using rubber stamps: we will include this in our work on the mini Demo schedule for the Fall09 Retreat and we will ALWAYS do one on one instruction

Issues with the dining area: We are working with the hotel on having our dining area roped off or signed "Private Party"

Would be nice to have snacks provided: the hotel will not allow us to bring snacks in. We try to provide some in your gift bags and will continue with this.

Suggested we have a "Scrap Swap" where we set up tables that you can put your unwanted products on to trade or sale: we will try to work this into our room layout for the Fall09 Retreat. Watch for details on this when the event gets closer.

Announce 2nd and 3rd place in Layout contest: we will do this at the Fall09 retreat

Provide coffee: we ordered coffee and will do a better job in the Fall to ensure that we get it.

Comments for the Boxcar Store:
Provide Metallic Papers: we will have some metallic papers from American Crafts at the Fall 09 retreat
Provide layout/project kits: we are beginning work on some layout/project kits to sell in our store this Fall. We may also offer some on this blog from time to time.
Provide t-shirts/bags: we are looking into this. Would you want scrapbooking shirts and bags or Croppin' Train shirts and bags?

  2. A scrapbooking and/or Croppin Train shirt (polo style rather than t-shirt) and a canvas bag would be nice!

  3. I would like to see a polo style shirt and a bag too. Larger sizes (3x)for the shirts would be great!
