Croppin' Train Virtual Scrapbook Retreat

Croppin’ Train Scrapbook Retreats invites you to join us on our first **VIRTUAL TRAIN EXCURSION**!

Sit back, relax, enjoy the scenery, and scrapbook with us!

We will be pulling out of Chicago’s Union Station on Thursday, November 11, 2021, travel through the Badlands of the Dakotas, view the majesty of Glacier National Park in Montana, and enjoy a coastline sunset in the state of Washington.

Each day of the 5-day virtual trip will highlight a different area of this scenic historical part of the U.S.  Accompanying this trip will be projects related to, or inspired by, each day’s featured area, but will be applicable to any scrapbook layout you choose.  In addition to the individual projects, there will be a mini album for you to assemble.

***

 **PROJECTS**

 Mini Album

2-page layout with vibrant colors and lots of texture

2-page layout using a waterfall technique

2-page sunset themed layout featuring mosaic scrapbooking

Complements specific to your “home state” (where you were born, where you live, etc. – whatever you consider your “home state”).  Project contents will include a state title, facts about your state, and embellishments related to your state.  (State name must be included with registration information.)

 ***

Once you purchase your ticket for our Virtual Train Excursion, you will be added to a private Facebook Group.  Within this group, we will host both Live and Recorded presentations for the featured area projects.  You will also get daily updates as Croppin’ Train makes its way to each destination.  All presentations will remain available in the private Facebook group so you can view them at any time and as often as you wish.

Full payment is due at time of registration.  First 25 registrations will receive a free 6x6 paper pad.

Cost:  $100 plus $20 flat-fee shipping in US

It's still a Virtual World!

Well, here it is, March 7, 2021, and we're still not scheduling in-person events. :(  Just tonight, we did a pop-up virtual crop via Facebook.  These virtual get-togethers have been awesome!  It's so nice to see people!  We all look forward to the time we can actually get together in person, though.  Watch Facebook for event updates!  Thanks - stay well!

Fall 2020 Scrapbook Retreat

We haven't published a blog post in a long, long time, but are going to try and keep up with it again.  Today we get to start by thanking the awesome women that joined us at the Fall 2020 Scrapbook Retreat in Branson!  We had a terrific time with these ladies!  Lots of laughter, a few sips (?) of wine, a little shopping, and lots of paper-crafting!

We are working on 2021 dates, and will post on Facebook and the blog as soon as we have confirmed our plans.

Hobby House

The Hobby House is located just one block off the Bentonville Square, we have 10 twin beds and, more importantly, ten 6’ tables with office chairs on wheels! That’s right – no sharing required!

Everything you need to enjoy a hobby-filled week-end! Bedding, towels, kitchen for cooking (or just re-heating!), internet, and a well-stocked crafting supply area (all the items we take to our weekend retreat will be here). You just have to bring your comfy clothes, those fuzzy slippers, and your personal crafting supplies.

The Hobby House can be all yours from 9:00 a.m. on Friday to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday – come and go as you like. Take a short walk to the Square to enjoy the dining and shopping available – or just spend a few quiet moments contemplating your next project. There is a new Neighborhood Market across the street too. We will come by at some point over the weekend and open the Boxcar Store (for crafting supplies). It is located within the Hobby House.

Weekend rental fee is $510.00 (up to 6 people) – Each additional person (up to a maximum of 10) is $85.00 per person. All prices will have 13.5% tax added to them. You can add Thursday and/or Monday for only $28 per person, per day. It is only $50 to hold your weekend.
